OOP Digital Desk: The youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Malala Yousafzai, is all set to pursue higher education at the prestigious Oxford University in Great Britain. The 20-year old Pakistan-born education activist tweeted that she is excited about going to Oxford, after getting the A-level results.
She also congratulated other students who received their results and wished them all the best going ahead.
Malala Yousafzai will study economics, politics and philosophy at Oxford.
The university has confirmed her acceptance as a student.
Malala Yousafzai first came into global prominence when a Taliban gunman shot in her head at Swat valley in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
She used to write under the penname “Gul Makai”, a heroine from a Pashtun folk tale.
Yousafzai now lives in the UK.
